End User License Agreement (EULA) - HDRI Pack

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between the purchaser ("Licensee") and Simon Lachapelle ("Licensor"), governing the use of Licensor's HDRI assets available on www.simonlachapelle.com or other authorized platforms.

By downloading, purchasing, or using these HDRI assets, Licensee agrees to the terms outlined in this EULA. If Licensee does not agree, they must not download, install, or use these assets.

1. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this agreement, Licensor grants Licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable worldwide license to use the HDRI assets based on the selected license type.

2. License Types

Licensee’s rights to use the HDRI assets depend on the purchased license. Ensure your use aligns with your license type.

2.1 Single-User License

  • Grants access to a single user.

  • Permitted for commercial use by one individual.

  • HDRI assets may be used in freelance projects, films, games, and other digital content.

  • Resale, distribution, or sharing of the raw HDRI files is strictly prohibited.

2.2 Small Studio License (2-5 Users)

  • Grants access to up to 5 users within the same company or team.

  • Allows commercial use in studio productions and collaborative projects.

  • HDRI assets may be used in films, games, and other professional content.

  • Redistribution of raw HDRI files is prohibited; they may only be used in final rendered projects.

2.3 Large Studio License (Unlimited Users)

  • Grants access to an unlimited number of users within a large studio or company.

  • Intended for large-scale productions requiring broader team usage.

  • All other restrictions apply, including prohibiting resale, redistribution, or sharing of raw HDRI files.

3. Usage Restrictions

  • Licensee may not share, sell, rent, or distribute the HDRI assets in their original form.

  • Licensee may not claim ownership of the HDRI assets.

  • The HDRI assets may only be used in accordance with the purchased license.

4. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All HDRI assets remain the intellectual property of Licensor. Licensee is granted a license to use them but does not acquire ownership.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Licensor provides the HDRI assets "as is" without warranty of any kind.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Licensor is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data.

  • These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory under which liability is asserted.

7. Termination of License

If Licensee breaches any term in this EULA, their license will be revoked without refund.

8. General Provisions

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Licensor and Licensee regarding the HDRI assets.
